I am honored to share a tribute to a remarkable individual who has profoundly impacted my life. It was during my formative years in grades 9 and 10, in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka, that I had the privilege of crossing paths with Father Joseph Mary. His extraordinary influence, particularly in the realm of humanitarian work, left an indelible mark on my soul. Father Joseph Mary guided me through villages, leprosy colonies, and feeding centers, igniting within me a passion for serving others.
Fast forward 50 years to 2024, and my recent visit to him was a poignant reminder that some things never change. In a heartfelt video, Father Joseph Mary continues to embody the same values and selflessly serves the community in his parish. His unwavering dedication to humanity serves as an enduring inspiration. and tonight, I express my deepest gratitude for the enduring impact he has had on my life and countless others.
