Gord Bontje is a pillar when it comes to humanitarian service. Gord has inspired me because he is moved by the suffering he sees in this world. He gives without being asked, he talks less and acts a lot. He thinks deeply about life but quickly turns that into action. Travelling with Gord is meaningful and fun. He asked good questions, slow to judgement and quickly acts towards solving problems. He is well read and one always learns from conversations with him.
In January 2020, I had the opportunity to travel with him for an extended period of time evaluating A Better World projects. These two video captures Gord’s passion when it comes to helping people and his incredible commitment as a board member.
