In June of 2024, I had the opportunity to take four university students from the Saruk Leadership Program on a trip I had been hoping for—a chance to introduce accomplished young people to global needs. We visited A Better World projects and took them behind the scenes to see how projects are implemented, scoped, and monitored. They got to know people in the community and engaged with students. It was a very meaningful experience, and I learned from them as well. The participants were Anna Flores, Teresa Bruce, Kyle Baclaso, and Elijah O’Sullivan.
